Sheoga Hardwood Flooring & Paneling’s 2020 Product Spotlight falT to their Live Sawn White Oak! One of their newest product offerings, available unfinished or prefinished and in solid or ¾” engineered with a 5.25mm wear layer!

The Live Sawn cut is a more modern method compared to traditional plainsawn or even quartered/rift cut. Each hardwood plank is cut straight off the log with no change to the logs cutting angle which, in return, features longer knot structures and a full range of plainsawn, quartered and rift cut all in one! The whole spread of the log’s aesthetics paired with the beautiful heartwood creates a truly unique, wider width and longer length hardwood floor!

Sheoga Live Sawn comes standard in lengths up to 10’, with majority of the lengths falling between 5’-10’. Very seldom will there be pieces under 3’. Also featured are ¼” or smaller splits in the ends of some planks that are intended to be filled with a clear or colored epoxy. Sheoga Live Sawn is available in widths of 5 ¼, 6 ¼”, 7 ¼” or 8 ¼”!
