SAVEMYFLOORING.COM

Mark Imbrock started SaveMyFlooring after he began fielding questions from flooring contractors who had seen the thermo-hygrometer he had supplied to the window industry, wondering if that product would work for them. When he subsequently discovered that the most well-known supplier of thermo-hygrometers to the hardwood flooring industry had virtually disappeared, SaveMyFlooring.com was born. Failure to keep relative humidity and temperature in a proper range can damage hardwood flooring and lead to customer callbacks. The themo-hygrometer makes a great thank-you gift for customers, Imbrock says, and helps them protect their new floors. The inexpensive device—“Most contractors give the customers the hygrometer, and bake the cost of it into the cost of the job,” he says—can also be branded with a company’s logo, offering a nice PR value.
