Easy to apply Schönox Protect is a high-strength universal resilient flooring adhesive and the newest addition to our adhesive line in North America. It is a low-odor, one-part SMP (silane-modified polymer), PH irrelevant and up to 95 RH. Suitable for bonding vinyl floor coverings – sheet vinyl, LVT, and VCT – as well as rubber coverings, sheet linoleum coverings, rubber and cork granulated underlayments, and artificial turf. It is also suitable under heating systems. Schönox Protect provides a moisture-resistant, solvent-free, non-shrinking – even in thicker layers – adhesive layer for porous and non-porous, interior and exterior floors. This adhesive is temperature-resistant after curing and ideal for heavy load areas and critical physical and climatic environments. A unit size of 2.5-gallons covers from 270-550 sq. ft. with a varying notched trowel. May contribute to LEED v4 certification of projects in specified categories.
